Dale King BSc ACA
Dale manages a wide variety of clients, from personal tax cases to auditing large businesses.
He has a particular interest in supporting owner-managed businesses of all sizes. As part of this Dale has significant experience in designing management account reports and working with business owners to ensure that they are gaining maximum value from the financial information available.
After graduating from Durham University in 2011, Dale joined Burgess Hodgson as a trainee accountant.
Dale qualified as a Chartered Accountant in July 2015, and as a high flyer within the firm has quickly been given greater responsibility and subsequently promoted to Associate in January 2017.
Dale has always been local to East Kent, growing up in Dover where he attended Dover Grammar School for Boys. He now lives in Canterbury city centre.
Dale is a keen cricketer, and on summer weekends can usually be found keeping wicket for the local St. Margaret’s Cricket Club. He combines this with captaining the (formidable!) Burgess Hodgson office team, as well as volunteering his time to help coach junior members of his club.
In the rest of his spare time Dale also plays other sports recreationally and is an equally keen spectator. He likes to ski as and when the tax return and audit seasons allow, as well as finding time to catch up with friends and working in vain to try and achieve a respectable golf handicap.
