Jim Leeves BSc ACA DChA
Jim has a wide range of experience, from preparing accounts and forecasts for owner managed businesses, to managing audits for corporate and not for profit organisations.
In 2013 Jim was awarded with the ICAEW’s Diploma in Charity Accounting which was assessed on his experience working in the sector. Jim has also been instrumental in obtaining the firm’s Xero Partner status and is a Xero Certified Advisor.
Jim joined Burgess Hodgson in 2006 as a trainee accountant having completed a degree at the University of Kent. He qualified in 2009, before being made an Associate in December 2012.
Whilst completing his ACA qualification, Jim was a regional prize winner in his final stage exams achieving first place for his performance in the Advanced Stage Business Change paper and second place in the Advanced Stage Order of Merit and has worked closely with a variety of different clients across the firm.
Jim lives in Canterbury and is married with three young children. In his spare time he is a sports enthusiast with a particular interest in American Football. Jim is also a Trustee at his local church, Canterbury Vineyard.
