Taxpayers who have received Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme or Self-Employment Income Support Scheme grants are urged to double check their entitlement as the 90-day period to inform HMRC of any overclaimed amounts is now law.

The chancellor recently announced the introduction of a Job Retention Bonus Scheme, to provide additional support to businesses who retain employees.
A one-off payment of £1,000 to employers that have used the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme (CJRS) for each furloughed employee who remains continuously employed until 31 January 2021.Read More

The Chancellor announced further details on the extension of the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme on Friday, including improved flexibility to bring furloughed employees back part time in July and a new taper requiring employers to contribute modestly to furloughed salaries from August.
