Kenton May BSc FCA CTA MAE
Kenton’s career has been in private practice since 1988 providing accountancy and taxation advice to owner-managed business and high net worth individuals. Kenton has enjoyed developing his interest in tax and forensic accounting.
He welcomes any opportunity to help his clients with work of a specialist nature including advising on the tax and accountancy aspects of business purchases and sales, dealing with tax investigations (including Special Compliance Office), and providing tax planning advice.
He is frequently called upon to provide litigation support services to solicitors and barristers in a variety of areas including business and share valuations, company profitability, tax aspects of transactions and commercial and partnership disputes. He has been instructed as a Party Appointed Expert and as a Single Joint Expert, and has given expert witness evidence under cross-examination in the County, Crown and High Courts.
Kenton was born and raised in Romney Marsh, Kent. He graduated from Leeds University and began his career in private practice in 1988. Shortly afterwards he joined Burgess Hodgson and then became a partner in 2004.
Kenton lives in Canterbury with his wife and their two children.
